Last year, I dedicated the summer to growth. I created a plan to ensure my children would grow spiritually, physically, and academically. I prepared workbooks and drafted key metrics, but ultimately, I failed.
This summer, I’m prioritizing silliness over seriousness.

(Also, in Canadian English, the preferred spelling for the noun referring to the act of defending is defence, with a "c".)
Enjoy your summer!
Oh yes!! Bring on the silliness!!
I dont like this article, I have diagnoased autism & adhd & its symptoms are serverly dibilitating for me they are NOT simply just personality quirks when you truely suffer from it. I will never drive a car, work a fulle time job & btw ppl with true adhd statisticly live 10 years less then their peers. Thet also have 10'000 more negative comments said about them by the time they are 12 years old. If they dont get labeled adhd itll be worse itl'l be rude, lazy, ect,. My adhd is servere it makes sitting still on regualr chairs not only mentally painful but physically too. Btw adhd effects emotional regulation & social stuff too. Kids adhd & adults struggle to make & keep friends & are bullied & mistreated. Its not just a personality quirky these are servere medical conditions & they require supports, understanding, empathy & accomidations. Not stupid ppl like you trying to say our struggles arent real. We suffer burnout & depression from ppl giving us unrealistic behaviour expectstions & lack of supports. Kids with adhd face social exclusion, rejection & its very sad what we go through & then for idiots to tell us oh adhd isnt real or is just a personality quirk. That completely rejects the servere struggles we face from the actual symptoms.
